late last week I took a ride around the ultra orthodox neighbourhood of Meir Shariem
This famous district of Jerusalem is well known for where a lot of the most religious Jews live. On Shabbat and on Jewish holidays, you will see barriers have been put across the road to stop people driving around the main streets of this neighbourhood. Its quite different from main part of Jerusalem as you generally see a lot of more traditional Jewish businesses, ie: stores with silver Judaica ornaments like a Menorah candlesticks etc. One thing I did notice was absolutely loads of fly posters are everywhere on the side of buildings.
This clothing store has a sale on! On white shirts and black trousers!
Great Jewish stuff at the Judaica store: Mezuzahs, Menorahs, Jewish gifts and more.
