ISIS poster discovered in Nazareth in 2011 by Google maps

Look at an old blog article of mine, and comparing it with a Google Steetmap view image from 2011.

This offensive banner arrogantly says not following Islam is for the losers.

But worse still, when I’ve been past this street corner three different times I didn’t realise the black logo with familiar Arabic on it.

ITS THIS LOGO OF ISIS.

Where as a politically correct thing people will say its only a minority of Muslims that promote terror the rest of the Islamic world will not challenge it.

Nazareth is an Israeli controlled city (not part of the West Bank) in the Galilee with a entirely Arab population, about 70% Muslim and 30% Christian.  I would say the Nazareth is still a safe area.  One of the hostels I did stay at was actually owned by an Israeli Arab policeman.    I think back in 2011 ISIS were not really known , so Israel’s police and security forces would remove such offensive posters, though not the idiotic banner above.

We are only saved thought Christ.   Not from being a cowardly liberal pretend Christian who think we are saved from being nice, or using a combination of bits of different faiths.

Muslims today have the freedom to reject this doomed system and accept the loving arms of their Lord and saviour Jesus, and more and more are doing so today.

Can we overload prayers to help our Christians brothers and sisters in Iran?

Following recent news that the Iranian Christian Pastor Yousef Nadarkhani held in a prison had been sentenanced to death, I decided to email the Iranian embassy politely in the UK to tell them how angry I was with this decision.   Hes been offered leniency if he rejects Christianity and takes up Islam, which he has refused to do so.

A while back the UK embassy in Tehran was broken into and looted.   I don’t know if there are many people in the UK office doing any administration.   Sounds like a tough job trying to do PR for a company that flaunts the ability to destroy another neighbouring country by saying they will “wipe them off the map”.

I looked in the spam folder of my email and saw this today, their mail server rejected my email as their mailbox is full.

I wonder if this means that lots of Christians (or indeed anyone upset by this decision) have emailed the Islamic republic’s UK operations and overloaded their mail system.   Or maybe their IT systems are just are rubbish as their human rights.

Of course, if this many people were praying for this man’s release and safety, without compromising his life with Jesus, you can’t pray too much, my loving God has infinite capacity for requests to him.  I hope all Christians feel compelled to pray to see this innocent man’s wife and children get to see him come home safely.

Iranian pastor Youcef Nadarkhani faces execution

I was sad to hear about a young pastor called Youcef Nadarkhani about the same age as me who is facing death in his home country of Iran for apostasy.

Apostacy in crazy Islamo-fascist states like Iran, is defined as leaving Islam because its not your cup of tea, not through insulting Mohammed or the Koran.  In this case though, its because some Persian people would rather seeking the love of Jesus than their state enforced religion.

Heck, Iranian people can’t even write blogs as they can be traced via their internet providers.   Executions of Christians is a depressing reality that happens quite often, especially in Iran, China, Indonesia and even Turkey.

Iran has the largest number of Muslims coming to Christ.   Some of the time this down to missionaries in the most hostile place in the world, and sometimes its down to dreams and visions (Joel 2 : 28)  and without any human intervention, entirely down to the holy spirit.

I really think western nations and the UN should get more vocal about this and put pressure on Iran to set this man free.

After the recent Ahmadinajad’s crazy outburst at the UN, should be a huge embarrassment for all decent people who work for Iran’s government, if there are any.   I wonder what rules the UN have for this kind of outburst and if they have ever asked anyone to leave.
